Lavender

Sweet floral-herbaceous with balsamic undertone. Botanical name: Lavandula angustifolia (also Lavandula spica or Lavandula vera; common lavender, true lavender, narrow-leaved lavender or English lavender).

The lavenders (Lavandula) are a genus of 39 species of flowering plants in the mint family, Lamiaceae. We stock a wide variety, from an economical blend, to a French Alpine oil from plants grown at high altitude, to sweet English varieties from Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Surrey, to the “dragons blood” lavender absolute: powerful, green, smelling of apples.
