Frankincense

Fresh, sharp, top note; warm, musky, base. There are many varieties: we stock Boswellia thurifera, Boswellia serrata and Boswellia sacra. Frankincense has been traded on the Arabian Peninsula for more than 5,000 years. A mural depicting sacks of frankincense traded from the Land of Punt adorns the walls of the temple of Egyptian Queen Hatshepsut. She died in 1458 BCE. Source
